FAQ
For most items: 13.25% of the total sale amount (including shipping) plus a $0.30 per-order fee. On a $50 item with $5 shipping, that's (55 × 13.25%) + $0.30 = $7.59 total in fees.
The Final Value Fee is the main eBay selling fee — a percentage of your total transaction. It's charged when your item sells and includes payment processing (Managed Payments). There is no separate PayPal fee anymore.
Yes. The FVF is calculated on the total amount the buyer pays — item price plus shipping. If you charge $10 shipping, eBay takes their percentage on that $10 too. Offering free shipping doesn't reduce the fee base if you build shipping into the price.
Net profit = Selling price − eBay FVF − $0.30 per-order fee − your item cost − your shipping cost. Use the calculator above. Or get it automatically on every eBay listing page with the free extension.
eBay Managed Payments replaced PayPal as the payment processor in 2021. The processing fee is now bundled into the Final Value Fee — sellers receive payouts directly to their bank account. There is no separate Managed Payments fee on top of the FVF.
