Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Sold Price & Profit Analyzer for eBay Sellers Chrome extension ("Service") operated by EffyCorp ("we", "us", or "our"). By installing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Sold Price & Profit Analyzer for eBay Sellers is a Chrome browser extension that displays eBay sold price history and profit calculations directly on eBay listing and search pages. The Service includes three features: a Profit Calculator overlay on listing pages, a Sold Price Overlay on search pages, and a FlipCheck Sidebar for on-demand sold price lookups.

This Service is an independent product of EffyCorp. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to eBay Inc. "eBay" is a trademark of eBay Inc., used here only in a descriptive context to identify the platform the Service operates on.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use the Service. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Account & Authentication

3.1 Free Tier (no registration required)

The Free tier requires no account registration. A device ID is generated automatically when you install the extension and stored locally in your browser. No email address or personal information is collected until you choose to subscribe.

3.2 Pro Tier (Magic Link authentication)

When you purchase a Pro subscription, your email address is collected by our payment processor (Paddle) during checkout and shared with us to activate your access. We send you a one-time Magic Link to your email to authenticate your Pro status in the extension. You are responsible for keeping your email secure. Notify us immediately at support@effycorp.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your subscription.

4. Subscription & Payments

4.1 Free Tier

A permanent free tier is available with the following limits:

4.2 Pro Subscription

A Pro subscription is available at $7.49 per month, billed on a 30-day recurring cycle. Pro includes:

Billing is handled by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. By subscribing you agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms in addition to these Terms. Paddle processes all payments and issues receipts. Your payment card statement will reflect a charge from Paddle.

4.3 Billing Cycle

Subscriptions renew automatically on a 30-day cycle from the date of the first payment. You will be charged using the payment method provided at checkout.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal link provided in the extension or by contacting support@effycorp.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; access to Pro features continues until the end of the current billing period. After cancellation your account reverts to the Free tier.

5. Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Paddle in accordance with our Refund Policy and Paddle's Buyer Terms. EU/EEA/UK consumers have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. To request a refund, contact us at support@effycorp.com.

The Service, including its interface, branding, and underlying technology, is the property of EffyCorp and is protected by intellectual property laws. eBay sold price data accessed through the Service is owned by eBay Inc. and is retrieved on your behalf using your browser session.

8. Third-Party Platform

The Service operates on eBay.com and related eBay domains. EffyCorp is not affiliated with eBay Inc. eBay may change its website structure or policies in ways that affect the functionality of the Service. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation if eBay makes breaking changes to its platform.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT SOLD PRICE DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE. SOLD PRICE DATA IS SOURCED FROM EBAY AND IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY — IT SHOULD NOT BE THE SOLE BASIS FOR PURCHASING OR SELLING DECISIONS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EFFYCORP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, OR FROM RELIANCE ON SOLD PRICE DATA PROVIDED BY THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Service Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may perform maintenance, upgrades, or suspend the Service temporarily. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime in advance.

12. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes affecting paid subscribers.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the Service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration or the jurisdiction of competent courts, as applicable.
